A Water Drop Model for Correct Kinetic Contact Angles

IWAIT 2014

Realistic representation of natural phenomena is one of the most important issues in computer graphics. Fluid dynamics simulation is effective and realistic to represent fluid. There have been proposed several methods to depict water drops interactively by using SPH (smoothed particle hydro-dynamics) method. However, they have not been able to depict precise kinetic contact angles of water drops, even though these angles are very important to represent 3D shapes of water drops. In this paper, we propose an improved method to depict water drops precisely and interactively.
